What is Gun Day and what is Meat Day?

Gun Day Meat Day is a single day dedicated to all things manly—guns, grilling, and great company. The event kicks off with Gun Day, held on a farm and grass airstrip in Hicksville, Ohio. As the name suggests, it’s all about firearms. We spend a few hours shooting, swapping stories, enjoying a few beers (responsibly), and maybe even blowing up a thing or two for good measure.

After the smoke clears and the last round is fired, we pack up and get ready for the second half of the day: Meat Day. This is where the grills fire up, and the real feast begins. Everyone brings a meat (or a side dish), and we cook up a spread fit for kings. From sizzling steaks and juicy chicken wings to fresh-off-the-grill fish, there’s no shortage of mouthwatering eats. Good food, great friends, and a whole lot of meat—what more could you ask for?
